We are seeking an Experienced Dog Groomer to join our dynamic grooming team in a large, open salon environment. Reporting to the salon manager, you will provide expert grooming services to 3-8 pets daily, ensuring each dog receives attentive, breed-specific care and styling. This role offers opportunities for cross-training in pet care and professional growth within a collaborative and well-equipped facility using salon management software and mobile scheduling tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform dog grooming including hair trimming, nail clipping, and styling
- Handle pets safely and compassionately to ensure a positive experience
- Apply breed-specific grooming techniques with attention to detail
- Maintain safety compliance at all times within the grooming salon
- Manage time effectively to groom 5-10 pets per day
- Collaborate within the grooming team and report to the salon manager
- Use grooming tools properly to deliver high-quality results
- Utilize salon management software and integrated client databases for scheduling and record-keeping
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in dog grooming
- Proficiency in breed-specific grooming techniques
- Strong understanding of animal behavior
- Experience using grooming tools safely and effectively
- Excellent time management skills
- High attention to detail in grooming and pet care
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training in animal care or grooming
