PRN Hospitalist Physician | Tyler, TX

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine in East Texas is seeking a PRN Hospitalist to join the UT Health East Texas team.

Requirements:

BE/BC in Internal Medicine. ( Family medicine-trained physicians will not be considered.)

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship

Obtains or ability to obtain Texas Medical License

Your Work:

• Variable shifts

• No procedures

• Advanced diagnostics and technology on site

• All rotations work with an admitting physician

• Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing, residents, fellows, and other staff members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety, optimizing clinical outcomes, and improving care delivery processes
• Epic EMR

Our providers use  Epic EMR  and  Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding leading to better work life balance and revenue.

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. Its mission is to train future healthcare professionals to embrace responsibility for the unique needs of rural and hard-to-reach communities and populations, particularly those in East Texas.
