Medical Laboratory Technician

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 06:00 - 16:30

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician with advanced microbiology experience, including plate reading, to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality laboratory services and supporting patient care in a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiology testing with a focus on plate reading and sensitivity testing.
• Conduct blood bank procedures and analyses as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective patient management.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Stay updated with current laboratory practices and technologies.

Required Experience / Certifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
• Proven experience in clinical microbiology.
• Strong skills in plate reading and sensitivity identification.
