Production Technician/ Operator I (Night Shift)

Production Technician I operates manufacturing equipment for formulation, encapsulation, and packaging at a pharmaceutical facility in Tempe, Arizona on rotating night shifts. The role involves executing GMP-compliant processes, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining quality standards under supervisory oversight.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and clean equipment according to batch records and standard operating procedures
• Monitor manufacturing processes and report issues to appropriate operational resources
• Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and execute in-process quality checks
• Train qualified colleagues on equipment operation and manufacturing processes
• Complete batch documentation following ALCOA and GMP compliance requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2-3 years cGMP manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new applications
• Understanding of HMI controls and vision inspection systems
• Ability to stand 8-12 hours daily and lift up to 25 pounds
