The role requires a competent professional adept at performing a range of CT exams. This position supports the emergency room volume and requires familiarity with advanced CT technology. Unit Information Number of Beds: 148 Staffing Description: 2-3 staff members on shift. Equipment Utilized: GE Revolution 256 Slice, GE VCT 64 Slice CT scanners. Documentation System: Meditech, Synapse PACS. Scheduling Requirements: Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM with a lunch break. Floating Policy: No floating required. Key Responsibilities Perform CT exams with proficiency, supporting patient needs while maintaining high-quality standards. Work collaboratively with existing hospital staff to address emergency room volume effectively. Stay up to date with scanning protocols and the IV contrast administration policy. Qualifications Required Certification: ARRT RT (R) (CT) with accreditation in CT. Experience: A minimum of 2 years in CT scanning. Skills: Basic CT skills are essential; advanced skills necessary for general procedures. Dress Code The required uniform for this position is navy blue.
