Experienced Geriatric Psychiatrist - Eastern NC Academic Role Near Raleigh
Opportunity Highlights:
• Academic Geriatric Psychiatry position within a growing division
• Blend of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
• Work across outpatient clinic and geriatric center with inpatient consults
• 144-bed behavioral health hospital with dedicated geriatric psychiatry beds
• Opportunity to develop consultation services for local nursing homes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including neuropsychologists
• Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students
• Potential leadership role as fellowship director for new geriatric fellowship
• Monday-Friday schedule with rotating night call by phone
