Senior Audit Associate

Most Audit Senior roles keep you checking boxes and clearing review notes. This one puts you closer to the clients, the decisions, and the path to Manager.

A growing public accounting and advisory firm is looking for an Audit & Assurance Senior ready to take real ownership. You’ll lead engagements from planning through completion, work directly with clients and firm leadership, coach junior staff, and solve complex issues as they arise.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through final delivery

• Build trusted relationships with client management and firm leadership

• Assess risk, resolve audit issues, and keep engagements on track

• Oversee testing, financial statements, disclosures, and complex audit areas

• Apply GAAP, GAAS, and evolving guidance to real client challenges

• Manage budgets, deadlines, and deliverables

What they’re looking for:

• 3+ years of public accounting audit or assurance experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Experience managing workpapers, financial statements, and engagement deliverables

• Confidence working directly with client management

• Ability to balance multiple engagements while guiding junior team members

• CPA track strongly preferred; CPA, CIA, or similar certification is a plus
