RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Must have 2 years of direct CVOR experience with scrub experience required
• Cardiac call required - approximately 6 minimum per month, up to 10 if short staffed
• Call schedule includes 1 per weekday and 2 weekend shifts (weekends are 24-hour shifts)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Perform cardiac OR procedures and other cases when no CVOR cases available
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Complete time-sensitive modules averaging 6-15 hours (non-billable)
• Scrub color: Ceil blue
• Charting system: EPIC
• Must participate in teaching responsibilities for students and new staff
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application

This 230-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital provides comprehensive cardiovascular services with an 18-bed cardiac operating room suite. The facility maintains a smoke-free environment and utilizes advanced technology including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System. The hospital emphasizes quality patient care through evidence-based practices and maintains strict compliance standards for all healthcare providers.
