Job Overview Project Manager – Automation Projects, Surveillance Facilities Location: McKinney, TX (Onsite). U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government security clearance (Secret) are required. What You Will Do Directly manage high‑impact, cross‑functional projects. Develop and implement strategic project management plans. Lead cross‑functional teams in developing and improving automation and infrastructure that supports factory operations, including sensors, machine integration, custom software applications, and commercial software platforms. Travel up to 20% of the time. What You Will Learn Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams. Negotiating trade‑offs and priorities between competing demands. Decision‑making under pressure and with limited information. Financial management: budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Qualifications – Must Have Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Experience with project management, including developing SWD project plans in a manufacturing environment, scheduling, managing R&Os, and leading cross‑functional teams to successful completion. Experience developing business cases and return on investment (ROI) analyses. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret). Qualifications – Preferred Raytheon Project Management level 6 certification and/or PMP certification. Experience managing budgets, including earned value techniques. Understanding of Agile methodologies. Experience with product management tools (DevOps, MS Project). Knowledge of transition to production of software products or automation systems. Experience with capital funding. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of the surveillance business sector, established industry relationships, and familiarity with product lines, customer base, and manufacturing operations.
