Ideal candidates will bring experience in school-based speech-language services and thrive in a two-day-per-week schedule, offering flexibility while making a significant impact.

Qualifications:

• Valid ABESPA AL SLP Certification and/or AL SLP DOE Certification (one required to start; can secure the other while onboarding)
• Clinical Certification of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience working with school-aged populations, preferably in grades 3-6
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy to students in 3rd through 6th grade
• Complete evaluations, write reports, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough records and submit documentation in accordance with school requirements
• Attend relevant meetings and participate in school initiatives as needed
