Job Title: RN - ED/Trauma
Location: Mequon, WI 53092
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:15 PM - 7:15 AM
Schedule: 3 days/week, 12 hours/day, 36 hours/week, Every Other Weekend Required
Schedule Notes:

12-hour night shifts
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirement
Fit test required
Color vision test required

Work Setting: Emergency Department / Trauma

Required Skills & Experience:

Clinical competence and experience in Emergency Department and Trauma nursing
Patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
Experience managing adult patient populations in an inpatient setting
Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Preferred Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Required Certifications & Licensure:

Current Wisconsin RN License or Multistate Compact RN License
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Job Summary:

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients in an inpatient Emergency Department/Trauma environment.
Demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult patient population.
Provides care in accordance with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.

Duties:

Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
Implement and evaluate nursing interventions.
Manage and coordinate care for Emergency Department and Trauma patients.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
Maintain clinical competency and adherence to nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
Deliver safe, high-quality patient-centered care.
