Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient

Therapy/Rehabilitation PT Outpatient

Schedule: 4x10 or 5x8 days schedule based on candidate preference. Two nights until 7 PM for both schedules. No call or float required.

Assignment Details: Minimum experience required: 1 year. Unit accepts first-time travelers with previous orthopedic experience.

Requirements:

• BLS certification
• NH State license
• Manual Therapy certification preferred
• Hand Therapy certification preferred
• Experience in outpatient clinic settings
• Familiarity with EPIC for EMR
• General skills: Home Exercise Programs, Lifting and Transfer, Patient Family Education, Safety and Injury Prevention, Billing
• Supported units: Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Oncology preferred
• Assessment skills: AROM/AAROM/PROM, Assistive Devices, Body Mechanics, Identifying Environmental Barriers, Pain Assessment, Skin Integrity, Strength Testing, Vital Signs, Adaptive Devices & Sensory Response preferred
• Documentation: Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Long Term Goals, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Short Term Goals, Time Management
• Equipment experience: Crutches, Gait Belt, Rolling Walker, Standard Walker
• Orthopedic experience: Ankle Sprains, Cervicalgia, Degenerative Disc Disease, Degenerative Joint Disease, Elbow Injuries/Tendinopathy, Extremity Mobilization, Frozen Shoulder, Gait Training, Hand Injuries/Tendinopathy, Hip Fractures/Injuries, Knee Injuries/Tendinopathy, Low Back Pain, Lumbar Traction, Osteoarthritis, Post Op Cervical Surgery, Post Op Shoulder Repair, Post Op Spinal Surgery, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sciatica, Spinal Conditions, Spinal Mobilization, Taping, Total Hip Replacement, Total Knee Replacement
• Modalities: Cervical Traction, Cryotherapy, E-Stim, Iontophoresis, Lumbar Traction, Moist Heat, TENS, Ultrasound

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Implement patient-specific treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs.
• Conduct thorough assessments and document all findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment for patients.
