Employment Type: Temporary-to-hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Balance Staffing is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to support material handling and manufacturing operations at a modular building facility in Stockton, CA. This position involves moving heavy and oversized materials, transporting finished modular units, receiving deliveries, and organizing inventory.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift to move heavy materials and finished modular units.
Transport completed units to designated staging, storage, or loading areas.
Unload deliveries and verify incoming materials against delivery documentation.
Organize and store materials in designated areas.
Supply production teams with materials needed for daily operations.
Complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Follow safety procedures for handling heavy, bulky, and oversized loads.
Maintain organized work areas and clear pathways.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and shipping teams.
Assist with other material handling duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous forklift operating experience required.
Experience handling heavy loads, large materials, or oversized products strongly preferred.
Manufacturing, construction, modular building, or warehouse experience is a plus.
Knowledge of forklift safety, load stability, and safe material handling practices.
Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
Reliable attendance and availability to work the scheduled shift.
Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
