In this technical leadership role, you will contribute your knowledge of rail and high-speed rail projects spanning planning, design, operations, maintenance and systems interface contributing to successful delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.As Technical Project Director you will be responsible for establishing project priorities, setting technical standards, providing technical and quality oversight, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder teams and clients. If you are looking to join a company that is invested in your success and committed to shaping the future, we encourage you to explore Jacobs.Here's what you'll need:Professional Engineering License in California or evidence of past licenseBachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical fieldMinimum 18 years of progressively responsible project management experience including planning, budgeting, execution, and successful project deliveryMinimum 8 years of experience working directly on US based High Speed Rail planning and design projectsExtensive Knowledge of the rail industry, including rail track, high speed rail, rail bridges and tunnels, and/or rail grade crossing design and constructionProven ability to manage multiple rail or railroad projects simultaneously and within a complex operating environment.Strong technical and leadership skills and experience working in a dynamic matrix organization, collaborating with regional and local leadership teams with private and public sector members, and supporting business development, marketing, and project delivery efforts.This is a part-time, limited term position, that may or may not be extended for additional time.Posted Salary Range: Minimum 295,900.00 Posted Salary Range: Upper 400,000.00Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
