We are America's largest, independent propane company with more than 85 locations in 12 states and celebrating our 75th year in business this year. Due to our culture, these positions have very little turnover.

Our Branch Office Specialists are one of our primary, first line of contact for our customers. They help answer the telephone, perform process and administrative tasks by computer, fill gas bottles, and become knowledgeable enough to confidently promote Blossman's core line of appliances. The position blends customer-care, computer work, utilization of hand tools / physical work and consultative selling. Some physically demanding duties such as loading/unloading propane tanks for customers, filling the tanks safely, working in the warehouse area, and working regularly to help our Service Technicians be prepared to work on job sites will be needed. This position has been a step to other positions at our locations including Branch Manager trainee, Route Driver, and Service Technician depending on aptitude.

Key qualifications include:

• High school diploma required; some college or earned degree helpful
• Professional, friendly demeanor
• Ability to work regularly in a fast-paced, retail setting
• Solid computer skills and the ability to learn new software
• Reliable; solid work ethic; team-oriented
• Physically capable of regularly lifting, unassisted, 50 lbs.
• Seek an entry-level position that blends regular physical work during the day, including at job sites, with work inside a showroom setting
• Desire to work M-F from 8-5 with occasional overtime particularly ahead of and during our peak winter demand time of year
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and other pre-employment steps
