The Accounting Operations Division at the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific (NAVFAC PAC) is currently seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will be a key contributor to our financial operations, applying your analytical expertise to support complex, multi-year programs. Key Responsibilities Perform a dynamic blend of operating and systems accounting to analyze and support high-stakes, multi-billion-dollar programs. Interpret and assess the strategic financial impact of new Congressional Legislation and fund utilization. Assist in financial benefits calculations, methodology, and business case analysis coordination. Evaluate and strengthen internal controls to ensure all financial transactions are strictly validated and properly documented. Who Can Apply We are currently accepting applications from: Current permanent employees of the Department of the Navy (DoN) within the Oahu, HI commuting area. Department of War (DoW) Military Spouse Preference (MSP) eligibles. DoW Military Reserve (MR) and National Guard (NG) Technician Preference eligibles.
