Medical Assistant - Preventative/Occupational Clinic

Type:  Ongoing temp / Temp-to-perm

Schedule:  Per Diem, Fridays and Saturdays, 7AM-3PM
Potential opportunity for variable days Monday through Thursday

Requirements: 

• National Medical Assistant Certification / Registration
• BLS Certification
• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
• MUST HAVE SKILLS:  Phlebotomy, administering injections, EKGs, vitals, front office support

Responsibilities:

• Support physicians and other staff members in performing physical examinations and other procedures
• Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), and other medical screenings
• Measure vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height)
• Administer injections / vaccinations
• Perform blood draws
• Record information in patient charts
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
