Advanced Practice Providers II (PA-C / Nurse Practitioner) in Los Alamos, NMWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality healthcare services to Laboratory employees within an Occupational Health setting. This position works closely with Occupational Health physicians and serves as a clinical resource for Occupational Health staff, providing care through the lens of occupational medicine.This is a fully qualified, career-level position requiring independent clinical judgment and the ability to resolve a wide range of occupational health issues while working under limited supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide occupational healthcare services to Laboratory employees.Assist Occupational Health physicians with clinical care and patient management.Serve as a clinical resource for Occupational Health staff.Deliver patient care consistent with the scope of occupational medicine.Apply Laboratory objectives and clinical expertise to resolve a wide range of occupational health issues.Exercise independent clinical judgment while working under limited direction.Required QualificationsEducation & Experience2–5 years of recent clinical experience in: Occupational Medicine OR A clinically related specialty, including: Family MedicineEmergency MedicineUrgent CareInternal MedicineSports MedicineLicensure & CertificationsPhysician Assistant (PA-C)Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) through the NCCPALicensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners/New Mexico Medical BoardCurrent New Mexico Pharmacy LicenseCurrent DEA LicenseNurse Practitioner (NP)Certification through a nationally recognized Nurse Practitioner certifying organization (including the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC))Licensed by the New Mexico Board of Nursing as both: Registered Nurse (RN)Nurse Practitioner (NP)Current New Mexico Pharmacy LicenseCurrent DEA LicenseSpectra Tech, Inc. is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
