Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a busy academic teaching hospital OR, requiring 3+ years of experience and BLS certification. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience required BLS certification required NBSTSA certification preferred WA state license required if applicable EPIC charting experience required Charge experience required High-Level Disinfection (HLD) skill preferred Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties including vascular, GYN, plastics, neuro, general, orthopedic, urology, ENT, bariatrics, transplant, and thoracic procedures is preferred Responsibilities Level Trauma teaching hospital operating room with 28 rooms and an average daily census of 50-75 Patient population includes orthopedic sports, minimally invasive arthroscopic and laparoscopic cases, robotics, general, GYN, urology, and plastics Night shift, 3x12 hours (1900-0730) on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday block schedule No weekend requirements beyond the block schedule Floats within the hospital to other specialties during slow periods but does not float to sister hospitals Uses EPIC charting system Neuro, spine, thoracic, and vascular experience a plus Work in a Magnet-designated, academic teaching hospital environment with high acuity cases Scrubs are provided for OR personnel and any color is acceptable First-time travelers are accepted for this position Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no mileage radius restriction RTO limited to a maximum of 1 week and cannot be requested during the first 2 weeks of assignment Prior UW staff must have a minimum 18-month separation before returning as a traveler COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs #J-18808-Ljbffr
