Pharmacist - Pharmacy - Travel Contract

We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you will use clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. Current California Board of Pharmacy license required. Five years recent pharmacy managerial experience in a hospital setting preferred. Pharmacist experience performing dispensing and clinical pharmacy functions. Experience supervising pharmacy staff, including scheduling and workflow oversight. Familiarity with regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and performance improvement in a hospital pharmacy.

Experience as Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager as defined by a State Board of Pharmacy. Experience developing and implementing standard operating procedures and staff training programs.

Shift Hours: 0800-1700. Shift Days: Monday - Friday. No scheduled on-call shifts. Availability by phone for issues is required.

The Pharmacy Manager will supervise departmental operations, serve as a pharmacist performing dispensing and clinical duties, and act as a resource for education and standard procedures. Expect to work with interdisciplinary teams to support regulatory compliance and continuous quality improvement.
