Job Summary:

The ADRC Liaison will assist the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) by providing support to staff within the department. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the liaison between the ADRC/Intake and I&R Teams.
• Receive, scan, and route documentation to appropriate ADRC staff.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to ADRC staff.
• Assist with mailings including EMS Release and Post Screening Letters.
• Review and scan Notice of Case Action and Privacy Practice forms.
• Research and verify resource information for review by authorized I&R staff.
• Provide clear and accurate notes from conference calls and meetings. 
• Assist with onboarding, training logistics and staff training records.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, providers, and community partners.
• Complete projects assigned by the ADRC Director.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Education:

High School/GED and experience with administrative support services. Experience working in a nonprofit/human service/social services organization a plus. 

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with older adults, adults with disabilities, caregivers, stakeholders, and community partners with professionalism, empathy, compassion, and genuine concern. 
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and telephone communication skills. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Adobe and agency-specific software systems. 
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as a member of a collaborative team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies. 
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. 

Special Requirements: Must pass DOEA Level II criminal background screening. Must sign SMMCLTC Program – Prohibited Activities form.
