StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Inpatient Rehabilitation Medical Director for a leading national physician services organization in Bradenton, FL.

Position Highlights:

• Serve as Medical Director of an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF)
• Provide physician oversight, quality, and regulatory leadership (CMS 60% rule, 3-hour rule, CARF / Joint Commission)
• Lead the rehab medical staff and partner with hospital administration, therapy, and nursing
• Maintain a clinical attending caseload in addition to leadership duties
• Drive utilization review, length-of-stay management, FIM scores, and outcome metrics

Qualifications:

• BC in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation OR Internal Medicine with significant IRF experience
• Minimum 2 years as an attending in an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility
• Demonstrated leadership in rehab medicine, QA, and CMS regulatory compliance
• Active state license (or eligible) and DEA where applicable
• Board Certification: yes
