DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect in Irving, TX.Duties:* Data Architect will design and build relational database models and define data requirements to meet the business needs* Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of databases* Foster value creation from the use of the internal organization's data assets, as well as from the external data ecosystem* Source the value through envisioning data-enabled strategies as well as enabling all forms of business outcomes through analytics, data and analytics governance, and enterprise information policyRequirements* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent work experience* Ten or more years of relevant experiencePreferred Skills/Experience:* Strong experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling, machine learning, data visualization* Strong experience and expertise in Java, SQL and Azure Cloud technologies* Good experience and expertise in Synapse, Presto, Spark SQL, Druid, SuperSet* Prior experience in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Azure Spark pool and building/managing large scale data warehouse is a plus* Previous experience in building data products* Experience in python/R/SAS/SQL for data extraction, data mining, and predictive analytic* Very knowledgeable in Apache Airflow* Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms* Proficient understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns and best practices* Effective communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skillsJob TypeContractCompensation51 - $69
