The Clinical Assistants will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by providing both clinical and administrative support in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Essential Functions Assists patients to/from clinic areas Assist physicians during office visits Scribe patient information into the EMR system Retrieve patient information from EMR system Conduct preliminary patient evaluations Communicate information with patients as directed by physician Provide appropriate patient education regarding injuries Manage and prioritize phone calls and electronic communication Schedule patient testing Obtain prior authorizations Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities) Excellent customer service skills Ability to multi‑task effectively Highly organized Able and willing to handle high patient care volume on a daily basis Required Education and Experience Previous experience working in a physician office in a clinical capacity Experience with orthopedics (spine/total joint) Preferred Certifications Certified Medical Assistant Athletic Trainer Certified
