Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 10+ years of experience in building enterprise-scale mission systems, preferably within the federal sectorProven hands-on experience with IaaS services including compute, storage, networking, FaaS, identity, and access management. Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices for deploying scalable and secure cloud environmentsKnowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) in OCI environmentsFamiliarity with Cloud platforms such as Oracle, AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with Oracle databases (on-premise and cloud), including provisioning, configuration, backup, and recoveryProficiency with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools for managing OCI resourcesSolid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security principlesAbility to monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in OCI environmentsAbility to work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DBAs, and business analystsStrong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and presenting solutionsDesired Skills:Knowledge of data security best practices and regulatory compliance Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in a data engineering contextOracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional or Oracle Big Data certification) are a plusExperience supporting Intelligence Community (IC)-related agencies and working with geospatial data typesExperience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)Developing and implementing multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud strategiesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skillsFull timePosting Date: 2026-06-24
