Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) is needed at an acute care hospital located in Springfield, Illinois. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing specialized care within the interventional cardiology unit, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Springfield, Illinois
• Specialty Name: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL)
• Shift: 4x12 or 3x12 days (06:30 AM 07:00 PM) with minimum of 48 hours per week
• Schedule: Days (0630-1900)
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required; 0 years accepted.
• Certifications Required: ACLS and BLS required.
• Licensure: Illinois license must be active and in hand at time of submission.
• Additional Skills: Experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations for adults, including left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias. Cerner experience is required.
• Procedures: Diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, adult procedures, procedural sedation.
• Patient Population: Adults.
• Housing & Compliance: Housing reviewed and secured or to be secured for the assignment location.
• Travel & Time Off: Candidate must be able to work two of the three major holidays. RTO (Request for Time Off) restrictions allow up to 5 non-holiday days to be auto-approved.
• Additional Requirements: RTO and start date must be confirmed and accurate; SSN and DOB required at submission; background check findings must be disclosed for client review; Flu vaccination required.
• Submission Rules: Review job details with the traveler, confirm understanding and compliance readiness, and provide 2-3 interview availability windows. Candidates must be pre-closed at submission, with references possibly pending. Floating within hospital or to affiliate facilities is required.
