Details Medical Surgical Combination unit in a 205-licensed-bed Joint Commission accredited hospital 48-bed unit with a 1:6 patient ratio and high turnover Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Float requirements are rare, but may include floating to inpatient rehab or ER for task-based support Uses Paragon EHR Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment required Must be able to start IVs, insert foley catheters, and insert NG tubes Experience performing EKGs and managing heparin drips required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Active license verification through Nursys required at time of consideration Copies of required certifications must be provided Additional Information Facility features the region's largest and most comprehensive ED and Free Standing ED Home to the largest and most advanced ICU and PCU in the region Facility holds an 'A' rating in LeapFrog Hospital Safety Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel pay rate Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-747737.
