Nurse Practitioner

Summers Healthcare, a private Internal Medicine office, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for an APP who is compassionate, hardworking and thrives in a patient centered, fast paced environment. We are offering both part-time and full-time positions. Open to both experienced provider and new graduates. Role Purpose: The APP utilizes a high degree of knowledge, skill, and competence to deliver patient care in a primary care clinic setting. This position assesses, diagnoses and treats acute and chronic illness within the scope of a formal collaborative practice agreement with a primary care physician. This role, patient care is performed with considerable independence, guided by physician-approved protocols, and evaluated through chart reviews and assessments. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population Conduct thorough physical exams, diagnose medical conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans Promote health education and disease prevention Order and interpret diagnostic tests and manage chronic conditions Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate up-to-date medical records and patient charts Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in Primary Care Minimum Qualifications: Active and valid Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license in the state of Missouri Proven ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong knowledge of medical standards and guidelines for primary care.
