About the Position

Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Contract

Austin, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Administer nebulizer treatments and manage oxygen therapy for adult patients
• Perform ventilator management and monitoring in accordance with care protocols
• Assess and monitor patient respiratory status and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, effective respiratory care
• Document patient care activities accurately within the electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in ICU, NICU, or PICU settings
• Familiarity with pediatric respiratory protocols including NRP and PALS certifications
