Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
This Emergency Room RN position requires experienced nurses to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER environment. The role involves collaborating with medical teams to ensure efficient and effective treatment for incoming patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly upon arrival and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and protocols.
• Perform IV insertions and manage related procedures, including float to psych hold areas if necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure positive outcomes.
• Participate in call, holiday rotation, and weekend shifts, including mandatory overtime as required.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of prior travel ER nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Be flexible to float to psych hold areas and work different shifts as needed.
• Must be able to work every other weekend and 2 of 3 holidays, submitting time-off requests at submission.
