Advanced Practice Provider NP PA - Night Critical Care Join a team of 5 APPs to provide night coverage. Schedule Night Shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Call Schedule: None Practice Details Facility: Ascension St. Vincent, Indianapolis, Indiana. EMR System: Sunrise Benefits Paid time off (PTO) Various health insurance options & wellness plans Retirement benefits including employer match plans Long‑term & short‑term disability Employee assistance programs (EAP) Parental leave & adoption assistance Tuition reimbursement Ways to give back to your community Responsibilities In collaboration with a Critical Care physician, provide critical care services to all patients in the Cardiovascular, Neurologic or Trauma Intensive Care Units. Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview, and examination. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform any required procedures. Provide cross cover for overnight critical care issues. Perform invasive procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement and intubation. The Critical Care APP team works closely with primary or consulting services to provide comprehensive care. The Critical Care APP attends codes in assigned units and may be called to assist with rapid responses. Requirements BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date. Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 months of hire date. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date. Education Master's degree in Nursing required.
