The Wellness Center provides no-cost preventative care, low-cost acute care appointments, behavioral health services, and prescription dispensing for select prescriptions at no additional cost!Education, Training & Experience:Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field in Healthcare Administration or Education.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution required.Significant experience in clinical healthcare settings and nursing education.Demonstrated experience in leadership, supervision, and program management.Experience with curriculum development and instructional delivery.Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.Valid Florida RN licensure required.CPR certification (as required by clinical partners).Preferred Qualifications:Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or Nurse Executive (NE-BC) credential.Experience with simulation technology and clinical lab management.Familiarity with accreditation standards (ACEN, CCNE).Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of all personnel within this position.Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the LPN - RN curriculum.Ensure integration of classroom instruction with clinical practice to promote critical thinking and decision-making.Develop strategies that support students' transition from the LPN to the RN scope of practice.Ensure compliance with Florida Board of Nursing regulations and accreditation standards.Maintain program readiness for accreditation reviews and reporting requirements.Develop and enforce policies aligned with institutional and healthcare regulations.Recruit, supervise, and evaluate nursing faculty and instructional staff.Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for faculty.Coordinate faculty assignments and manage instructional workloads.Oversee clinical placements and maintain relationships with healthcare partners.Manage program budget, resources, and instructional materials.Oversee the use and maintenance of simulation labs and instructional technology.Support student success through retention strategies and academic interventions.Address student concerns and maintain a professional, inclusive learning environment.Monitor program outcomes, including NCLEX-RN pass rates and job placement.Other duties as assigned.Charlotte County Public Schools promote Equal Educational and Employment Opportunities.
