Patient Care Assistant, Emergency Dept.

AS A PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT, you'll be responsible for assisting in the total nursing care for all patients utilizing standards of care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of patient care experience preferred
  • Current Pennsylvania nursing assistant, EMT, or Paramedic certification required
  • or Completion of nursing assistant course
  • or Completion of clinical medical assistant program
  • or Completion of one semester of nursing school (RN or LPN program)
  • or Completion of one semester of pre-med school
  • or Current experience as nursing assistant
  • Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification required within first 6 months from start date
  • Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCM) certification required within first 18 months from start date
