Job Title: TEMP-Lab/Research Support (Scheller College of Business) Location: Atlanta, Georgia Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 300397 Job Summary Provide support services in the operation and maintenance of an academic or research laboratory on a project involving bankruptcy court documents. Duties include performing analyses; setting up, operating, maintaining, and cleaning equipment; and maintaining a stock of supplies. The position will interact regularly with academic and/or research faculty members, staff, and students. Responsibilities Setup, operate, and maintain instruments and other equipment used in performing lab tests and experiments. Order supplies and materials as required; maintain records. Setup laboratory media/equipment for demonstrations. Clean instruments, glassware, and other lab equipment as needed. Prepare and process laboratory samples for use in assigned tests. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements High school diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma. Required Experience Up to two years of job related experience. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities This position requires working knowledge of instrumentation and other lab equipment, laboratory processes and procedures specific to the assigned lab, specifically bankruptcy court procedure. Skills in inventory management and the use of specialized computer applications are required.
