Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, including support for ED boarders requiring inpatient-level care while awaiting bed placement.
• Manage pre-cardiac catheterization patients and patients with ports as part of routine assignment.
• Float as needed between campuses and to Observation, Medical-Surgical, and MS Telemetry units based on census and staffing needs.
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic (experience required) .
• Adhere to weekend scheduling expectations: expected 4 weekend shifts (2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays) per 6-week period, along with 3 Mondays and 3 Fridays per period.
• Maintain compliance with facility dress code, including Navy Blue scrubs with no agency or brand logos , natural fingernails no longer than 1/4 inch, and no nose rings or gauged earrings.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN Compact License at time of submission.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 1.5 years of Telemetry experience; experience with pre-cardiac cath patients and port management required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required.
• COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered); Flu vaccination required.
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are welcome and accepted at the local rate.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple unit types, including Observation and Medical-Surgical settings.
• Familiarity with managing ED boarder patients in an inpatient care context.
• Experience with block scheduling in a travel or contract setting.
