Pharmacist in Greenville, OH

An immediate opportunity is available for a night shift pharmacist at a 200-bed community hospital in Indiana. This contract position offers a 6-month assignment with potential for temp-to-hire, providing an excellent chance to apply your hospital pharmacy expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.


Schedule & Hours:

• Night shift: 7 days on, 7 days off
• Hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Manage pharmacokinetics assessments and dosing adjustments
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapies and clinical recommendations
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system proficiently for documentation and communication

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Indiana pharmacist license is required
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience, specifically in a community hospital setting
• Ability to work overnight shifts consistently
• Strong communication and clinical consultation skills
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar healthcare IT systems preferred
