Licensed Vocational Nurse

** ** JOB STATEMENT Provides essential patient care while supporting clinic operations and collaborating with medical staff. JOB FUNCTIONS Patient preparation, vital sign measurement, and pre-screening. Specimen collection and routine lab tests. Vaccine administration, adverse event monitoring, and inventory management (including serving as vaccine coordinator). Patient education and phone support. Equipment sterilization and waste disposal. Assisting with audits and reports. Training other staff and maintaining inter-agency relationships. Administering medications under supervision. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education : Practical or Vocational Nursing Degree Specialized Training/Certifications/Licenses : Texas LVN/LPN License (or compact state equivalent), and CPR Certification Experience : 1 year preferred Knowledge: Spanish is a plus Skills : Computer Literacy, Patient-Centered Orientation, Cooperation, and Confidentiality Abilities : Fluent in English (speak, read, write, comprehend), ability to stand/walk for extended periods, bend/stoop, lift 20 lbs. unassisted, physically assist patients, and have good vision Other : Ability to work occasional Saturdays, potential local travel between clinics, and must maintain CPR and required immunizations #J-18808-Ljbffr
