Technical Program Manager Location: NY or South Carolina, Duration: Full Time Key Responsibilities Lead and manage complex, multi-faceted technology programs related to wealth management solutions, financial services platforms, and digital transformation initiatives. Develop and manage detailed program roadmaps, timelines, resource plans, and budgets. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of program milestones. Monitor project progress and resolve any roadblocks or delays, adjusting timelines and resources as necessary. Act as the main point of contact for all program-related communication, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Stakeholder Management Work closely with senior leadership, business units, product owners, and IT teams to define program objectives and deliverables that align with business goals. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, balancing stakeholder needs with technical constraints. Manage expectations and foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and continuous alignment. Risk & Issue Management Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and obstacles that could impact the program's success. Lead regular status meetings and escalations, tracking and resolving issues promptly. Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, SEC, MiFID II, etc.). Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 10+ years of experience in technical program management or delivery lead roles, ideally within the wealth management, financial services, or fintech sectors. Proven experience leading complex, large-scale technology programs or initiatives in a highly regulated industry. Experience working with financial products, wealth management platforms, investment banking technologies, or asset management solutions is highly desirable. Strong understanding of the wealth management domain, including investment management, portfolio strategies, financial planning, and client relationship management tools. Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project). Strong technical background with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, SEC regulations) is a plus. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and technical teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CRM/wealth management platforms, and APIs is a plus. Certifications (Preferred) PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification. Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP).
