Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist

Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedure, and produce detailed images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams.

Minimum Requirements

• National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• 2 years of experience
• BLS certification
• Experience with TTE complete with color and doppler
• Experience with ultrasound enhancement agents including Definity or Optison
• Experience with advanced imaging in accordance with ASE/IAC Echo, including LV Global Strain, 3D, HOCM, and agitated saline contrast studies
• One of the following credentials is required: RCS, RDCS, or ACS

Assignment Details

• Monday through Friday
• 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM with one hour for lunch
• 40 scheduled hours per week
• Floating to satellite sites within the Wake Region may be required
