We are looking for a Full time staff member to add to our Boulder clinic on Pearl St. Reliability is a must! AFC Urgent Care of Boulder is seeking a front desk medical receptionist with excellent customer service skills for a full time position. The ideal candidate will be personable, efficient, and able to address customer concerns/complaints with a positive caring attitude. Must be able to work a 12 hours shift. Open clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8-8 and Saturday-Sunday 8-5. Must be able to multitask as this is a high paced position. Every Thursday and Friday 7:45am-8:00pm. Every other Saturday and Sunday 7:45am-5:00pm.Job description:Prepare the clinic for opening each day by reviewing the facility, opening all systems applications, and preparing new patient registration packets and required documentsGreet patients, assist with patients registration on the iPad.Register patients, update patient records, and verify insurance accurately and timelyRespond promptly to customer needs, provide excellent customer service, assist patients with follow-up appointments, and fulfill medical documentation requestsBalance daily patient charges (cash, check, credit cards) against system reportsComplete closing procedures by preparing closing documentation and submitting required reportsPrepare, sign, and drop the deposit in the safe on a nightly basisComplete cash control procedures and secure financial assetsMaintain complete and accurate documentation.Observe safety and security procedures; promote a safe and pleasant work environmentRegular attendance to ensure efficient clinic operationsOther duties and responsibilities as assignedCompensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourAmerican Family Care has pioneered the concept of convenient, patient-centric healthcare.
