DoD SkillBridge Heavy Equipment Service Technician* - Mesa, AZ (Hybrid Position). Komatsu, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of mining and construction equipment, welcomes transitioning active duty service members to participate in internship opportunities. Interns will receive training servicing electric drive trucks and/or electric shovels and will be evaluated for nationwide full‑time positions. Service Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of Komatsu construction/mining equipment, including electric drive trucks, electric shovels, and excavators. Interns will receive training on equipment maintenance, instrumentation and control systems, machining and welding as part of the on‑the‑job training portion of their internship. Please note: This is a military transitional program that does not provide compensation through Komatsu. You must be a current military Service Member eligible for the DOD SkillBridge program. Komatsu will consider any active duty member that is eligible for the DoD SkillBridge program; however, Service Members with maintenance and/or skilled trades (electrician, machinist, welder) job experience are preferred. Komatsu will provide trainees with transportation to internship location, lodging, and meals.
