More than 12,870 Alumni have graduated as Evans Scholars, representing more than $435 million in tuition and housing costs. There are currently 1,310 Evans Scholars attending 28 universities across the country. The Western Golf Association (WGA) has conducted championships for professional and amateur golfers since 1899. Today, it is a driving force in the game of golf, raises funds and awareness for the Evans Scholars Program and promotes youth caddie opportunities. The Coordinator, Merchandise role will manage WGAESF merchandise programs and special orders, collaborating with the Senior Director, Merchandise to respond to the growing demand for merchandise across the organization. Supervisor : Senior Director, Merchandise Location : Glenview, IL – hybrid opportunity to work remote up to 1 day a week to start Salary Range : $60,000 to $65,000 (based on experience) Start Date : January 2027 Benefits Include: Base salary plus bonus (commensurate with experience) 403(b) retirement plan with a very competitive contribution program Paid time off Walking distance to Glenview Metra train station Job Responsibilities WGAESF Department gift sourcing and purchasing Awards and trophies Par Club Source and order premiums Assist with mailings (bag tags, premiums announcement, etc.) Track inventory / Reporting ESF Development Stewardship Track inventory and place reorders for product at J&H warehouse Track expenses and usage Special order requests (Donor Gifting, Alumni, Match Play Partners, etc.) ESF Development Events Manage event gift distribution from J&H warehouse or WGAESF HQ Collaborate with event planners to suggest and source gift ideas Place special orders (ES Cup Events, ESF Outings, Gala, etc.) Tournaments Collaborate with Merchandise staff on gifting ideas for special events, pro-ams and player gifts Assist with staff uniform needs and distribution Scholarship Team – scholars and advisors Career Services – events WGA Caddie Academy – uniforms HR – staff golf outing, holiday gifts WGA Directors – green coats and ties, special orders Licensing Partners – quarterly tracking and billing E-commerce drops - product development and management Collaborate with Marketing to ensure all designs comply with brand guidelines Evans Scholars Invitational On-site merchandise activations or future opportunities BMW Championship Year-Round Buying Assistant – product selection and development Point of Sale program management – data entry, reports and barcoding Load-in / Load-out support Vendor coordination and management Front of House operations – customer service, signage and restocking Facilitate all aspects of the program Transition excess product to ESF Event Gifting BMWChampionship.com J&H Fulfillment operations liaison Product management and liquidation Customer Service Coordinate marketing campaigns Monthly reporting WGA & WWGA Director Website Shopify store product set-up Headquarters merchandise management Order fulfillment Peter Millar Microsite Data Entry WGAESF Collection x Imperial Coordinate marketing campaigns Refresh product as needed New WGAESF online merchandise store (TBD Platform) New Par Club Premiums platform – research and reimagine how to execute ESF Scholar merchandise - assist scholarship houses with merchandise needs and sourcing Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Willing to travel for meetings and events as requested PGA Merchandise Show (January) Vendor Meetings as needed Evans Scholars Invitational (July) – early mornings or evenings may be required BMW Championship (August) Ability to relocate and travel as necessary for on-site support up to 3 weeks (merchandise load-in to load-out) Nights, weekends and holidays as required Ability to work extended workdays (approx. 12 hours) Physical Demands –sit, stand, walk and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required Should be comfortable learning online platforms such as RepSpark, NuOrder, retailcloud, Shopify and J&H warehouse platform Excellent “people” skills are a must Self-motivated, team player with the ability to establish strong working relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, vendors and volunteers Must possess strong organizational skills for physical product management and digital ordering Excellent verbal and written communication skills Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with zero to five years of job-related experience.
