Dining Services - Weekend Part-Time

The Lutheran Home is seeking a dependable Dining Services Dishwasher to join our team within our retirement community. Guided by our values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship, this role helps support a safe and efficient dining operation by maintaining clean dishes, cookware, kitchen equipment, and work areas.

• This position is scheduled every Saturday and Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Approximately 16+ hours per week

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using a commercial dishwasher
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked to support daily operations
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning, including floors, trash removal, and work surfaces
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Working collaboratively with Dining Services team

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Previous dishwashing or food service experience is helpful but not required
