Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Developer Platform/Product with a strong background in Snowflake Architecture. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in software development and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud based data platforms, particularly Snowflake, and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake.
• Architect and implement data models that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize Snowflake performance and cost management through best practices and monitoring.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and cloud computing.
• Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows for future reference.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Snowflake Architecture and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration methodologies.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on data architecture and cloud solutions.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Snowflake solutions.
• Relevant certifications in Snowflake or cloud technologies are a plus.

The pay range for this role is $120k - $150k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
