Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant to support our podiatry team. Our team values efficiency, professionalism, and compassionate patient interactions and must be comfortable working in a fast paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

Room patients and obtain medical history
Assist physician with in-office procedures (e.g. nail care, wound care, injections).
Prepare and sterilize instruments
Perform basic clinical tasks such as dressing changes and suture removal
Maintain clean and organized exam rooms
Document accurately in the EMR
Perform and assist with digital x-rays
Dispense durable medical equipment and provide patient education

Qualifications:

Medical assistant certification preferred (not required with experience).
Prior clinical experience required (podiatry, wound care, ortho, or surgical specialty preferred)
Strong organizational and communication skills
EMR familiarity
Experience with X-ray imaging preferred
Ability to multi task in a fast paced setting
