Description:

• Support hydroelectric project portfolio in Colorado as owner representative overseeing safety, quality, schedule and contract compliance on hydro and heavy civil projects.

• Review work plans, safety and weather; attend meetings; perform field inspections; coordinate with stakeholders; prepare daily reports.

• Provides oversight and stop-work authority for unsafe conditions.

• Key Stakeholders: Project Management, Engineering, Safety, Quality, Operations, EPC contractors and project stakeholders.

• Customer Support: Supports internal teams and external contractors.

• Safety Considerations: Remote mountain sites, heavy equipment, dams/tunnels, OSHA environments.

• Work Hours: Typically 10-12 hour days, up to 6 days per week, rotation home every 6-8 weeks.

Qualification:

• No required degree; engineering or construction management preferred.

• Construction supervision, heavy civil construction, concrete/underground experience, drawing/specification interpretation, contractor oversight.

• Communication, integrity, collaboration, judgment, independence.

• Experience: 5-20 years; hydro, dam, bridge, tunnel, mining or similar infrastructure preferred.

• Nice to Have: Hydro, FERC-regulated projects, government/regulatory experience.

• Collaborative, professional, field-based environment requiring strong communication and independent judgment.
