About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:30 - 08:00) Experience: 2 years required License: Active state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 - Familiarity with charting systems preferred - Travel experience required Description: This role involves providing nursing care in a fast-paced and high-volume setting. You will manage a wide variety of patient diagnoses, including complex admissions. You will be responsible for the care of patients within your scope of practice. Floating between different units and providing care to boarders is expected. You must work weekends every other week and holidays as scheduled. You are required to have strong skills in telemetry and care for ventilated patients. The daily census may range from a minimum of 10 to up to 40 patients. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple patients effectively. There will be collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services and social services. You will be responsible for administering various therapies and treatments based on patient needs. You should have knowledge of nursing protocols and procedures.
