An established Northern California Family Law practice is searching for an experienced litigator who thrives in the courtroom and enjoys handling challenging, high-conflict matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior attorney who can immediately step into an independent litigation role while working alongside a collaborative and supportive team. The practice regularly handles complex divorce litigation, custody disputes, property division, support matters, and negotiated settlements throughout Santa Clara County, Alameda County, and the surrounding Bay Area courts.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex Family Law litigation.
• Lead contested hearings and courtroom appearances.
• Draft and negotiate marital settlement agreements.
• Prepare clients, witnesses, and experts.
• Handle complex financial and property disputes.
• Supervise case workflow and collaborate with support staff.
• Maintain accurate case management using Clio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of exclusive or predominantly Family Law experience.
• Significant litigation experience.
• Strong courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Trial experience strongly preferred.
• Active California Bar membership.
• Experience with Clio is preferred.
• Familiarity with Santa Clara County, Alameda County, and nearby courts is highly desirable.
• A portable book of business is welcomed but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $160,000-$200,000, depending on experience.
