Dental Assistant. ($18-$26 Based on Experience) Join the Dental Nook Team! At Dental Nook - Northgate , we're looking for an exceptional Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow alongside a modern, high-performing dental practice. While a minimum of one year of dental experience is preferred but not required , we are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn. Has excellent attendance and arrives on time, prepared to start the day. Is dependable, organized, and follows systems and checklists consistently. Maintains a positive attitude and contributes to a supportive team culture. Is willing to learn and continuously improve. Ability to work with different doctors. Clinical Skills: Preferred experience includes: Taking a full-mouth series (FMX) in under 5 minutes. Taking high-quality orthodontic photos using a professional camera. Assisting with a wide variety of procedures, including: Fillings. Crowns. Root canals. Extractions. Wisdom teeth. Implant placement. Invisalign. Sealants. Pulpotomies. Independently placing sealants using DryShield. Polishing teeth, flossing, and providing oral hygiene instructions (OHI). Fabricating temporary crowns or willingness to learn. Sterilization & Office Support: We believe every team member contributes to the success of the practice. Responsibilities also include: Maintaining sterilization and laboratory areas. Keeping operatories clean and organized throughout the day. Completing assigned cleaning checklists. Participating in monthly deep-cleaning projects, including: Autoclaves. Ultrasonic cleaners. Treatment rooms. Break room. Floors and common areas. Why Dental Nook?
