Sales and Service Specialist

Responsibilities Ensure optimal operational efficacies to provide customers the best rental car experience. Assist in creating rental car reservations, processing rentals, and providing clean and safe vehicles. Handle post‑rental inquiries involving the rental and billing process. Work in a fast‑paced environment while delivering helpful customer service that enhances the rental experience. Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, rental requirements, billing, rental extensions, roadside assistance, and related questions. Effectively communicate the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and procedures. Maximize revenue opportunities by actively soliciting business after customer inquiry and overcoming objections. Prepare vehicles for customer pick‑up, including checking for damage, cleaning interior (windows, door jams, trunk, vacuum, etc.) and exterior (wash), filling gasoline tanks, and checking all fluid levels. Qualifications Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple tasks. Professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills. Previous customer service experience. Strong time‑management and organizational skills. Computer literate and detail oriented. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Customer service resolution practices. Excellent communication techniques. Sales management and coaching ability. Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and show ownership, accountability, and initiative. Flexibility to work diverse shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and stand for long periods. English proficiency; additional languages encouraged. Ability to assist with special administrative projects when needed. Compensation $16.00 per hour.
